· That the risen Christ is still the Good Shepherd

· That the risen Christ knows His sheep and calls

them by name

life for the sheep

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

· Wilf Witham, and his parents, Richard and Sophie, as Wilf is Dedicated today, asking that he grows in faith, discipleship and trust in Jesus Christ

· The Development Area meeting on Tuesday, and for all that needs now to be done over the next year or so in advance of any planning application being submitted

· The Standing Committee meeting on Wednesday, and for the preparations to be made for the PCC meeting in May

· Alpha on Thursday, giving thanks for the new group and praying that all who engage with Alpha will meet with Jesus Christ and come to faith in Him as personal Saviour

· The Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, that all the men who come will grow in faith and fellowship, and for Bill Edwards as he speaks

· The women of All Saints preparing for the 10k/5k race on Sunday 10^th May, that their participation may actively witness to Christ and bring glory to his name

· The preparations for Christian Aid Week and our participation in it, and for Malcolm Baines and Sue Watterson in their differing roles of co-ordination

· The sidespersons as they prepare for the Archdeacons Visitation, giving thanks for their faithful ministry of service week by week and praying for God to raise up new people to join our sidespersons team

· The people and medical services in Mexico and elsewhere, as they seek to deal with, treat and contain the outbreak of Swine Flu

· The ministry and mission of Care for the Family, giving thanks for the support and encouragement given to the nurturing of Christian values in family and public life

· The sick

· All who grieve the loss of a loved one or remember the anniversary of a death at this time.
