PRAISE GOD:

·  That the God so loved the world that He gave Jesus Christ to redeem humanity from sin

·  That the Jesus Christ calls us to live in His love eternally

·  That the Jesus Christ issues a new commandment for us to love one another

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

· The families and friends of Grace Fisher-Smith, Amy Lee, Millie Cain and Mason McConnell who are being baptised this morning

· The Children’s Council and PCC meeting on Monday, asking for God’s continued guidance in our corporate life and praying especially for those newly elected to serve on the PCC

· Bookworms on Monday, praying that the fellowship enjoyed will also lead to conversations regarding the Gospel and the person and work of Jesus Christ

· Gary, Joan and Scott as they meet with Sally Binyamin (Methodist Minister) on Wednesday  afternoon and for their continuing exploratory conversations regarding ways in which we might mission and minister together as sister communities of faith

· The services on Ascension Day and for their witness to Christ’s return to heaven, asking that we will live and witness courageously in the knowledge that Christ reigns at the right hand of God and will return as Sovereign Lord and Judge at the time of the Father’s choosing

· Our governments and council leaders that they will lead us with integrity, justice and consideration.

· The work and mission of Tearfund, especially their involvement in the Democratic Republic of Congo where they are helping millions of people as they  recover from 10 years of war.

· The sick and those undergoing medical procedures

·  All who grieve the loss of a loved one or remember the anniversary of a death at this time
