PRAISE GOD:
· That through Jesus Christ we can receive new and eternal life
· That through Jesus Christ we are resurrected from the dead
· That through Jesus Christ we are forgiven, cleansed and healed
PLEASE PRAY FOR:
· Sandra, Mark and Corban Atherton, and Beth and Daniel Chan, as the Athertons move to Scotland on Monday, giving thanks for Sandra’s ministry as self-supporting Administrator, and praying for God’s blessings on them as they re-locate to the island of Hoy
· Bill Addy as he prepares to begin his training for ordination from September, and for God to continue to raise up women and men to serve as ministers of the Gospel
· Dick Williams and Henry Stott as they undertake the final preparations for the Arts and Crafts Exhibition (3-5th July), that many will come into our church as a result of hosting the weekend
· The PCC as they visit on Saturday a number of church buildings of a similar style and age as All Saint’s, to meet with clergy and lay people and consider how recent developments to those buildings have aided and enhanced the worship life, mission and ministry of the congregations
· Our own response to the development proposals and especially our personal commitment to pray about the way forward in the half-night of prayer on July 10th
· The people and leadership in Iran at this time of concern regarding the recent and disputed election of the President, and how this election might impact on Iran’s relationships with neighbouring countries and other geo-political constituencies
· The work, mission and ministry of Chaplains in Sport, especially for those chaplains who are working at Wimbledon and other major sporting events over the summer period
· The sick and those undergoing medical procedures.
· All who grieve the loss of a loved one or remember the anniversary of a death at this time.
Collect for third Sunday after Trinity
God our saviour,
look on this wounded world in pity and in power;
hold us fast to your promises of peace
won for us by your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
