PRAISE GOD:
· That He is Mighty in power
· That He is Majestic in splendour
· That He is Merciful to those who call upon His Name
PLEASE PRAY FOR:
· The impact of Heritage Weekend and Back to Church Sunday, that many will come to know of what God has done in Jesus Christ – the very reason for the Church’s existence and for our presence in this community
· The families of the children being brought for Baptism this Sunday: James David Munro, Isla Elisabeth Irvine, Noah Benjamin French, Primrose Bareham and Jemima Grace Hargreaves; praying especially that each child will come to know personally the grace of God brought near in Jesus Christ
· The PCC who will be meeting on Monday, praying for wisdom and discernment in all that is discussed and decided
· The impact of our monthly prayer times beginning on Wednesday with regard to the development of our site and buildings, that they will be times of both intercession and listening as we seek before God to re-shape our buildings for mission and ministry to this generation and beyond
· The Small Group Introduction and Social Evening on Thursday, that many will come along and discover the blessings, benefits and opportunities of belonging to a Small Group
· The new Alpha Course beginning on Thursday evening, praying that many will come to explore what it means to be a Christian and to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
· The Prayer Partners Supper on Friday evening, giving thanks for the many prayer warriors at All Saints and for their ministry to groups, organisations and individuals in our church
· The ministry and mission of Mercy Ships, and for the medical care they provide in Christ’s name to some of the poorest and most deprived individuals on the planet, praying especially for Dave Fryer as he prepares to serve once more over these next few months on Africa Mercy as one of the senior engineers
· The people and leadership of Zimbabwe following recent high level meetings with members of the European Union, praying for the development of a truly democratic and stable society in which fear and favour are removed and are replaced by peace, equity and prosperity
The sick and those undergoing medical procedures.
· All who grieve the loss of a loved one or remember the anniversary of a death at this time.
COLLECT FOR THE FIFTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY
Lord God,
defend your Church from all false teaching
and give to your people knowledge of your truth,
that we may enjoy eternal life
