The All Saints Light Party will be on Saturday 31st October 4‐6pm
This is a party for all ages, particularly young children & their families to celebrate JESUS, The light of the world
with FUN, GAMES, CRAFTS, FOOD, WORSHIP & more!!
£1.50 PER CHILD – Adults free with an accompanying child. All Children must be accompanied. No Halloween Costumes Please.

The Confirmation Service will be at 11am on Sunday 1st November. Please mark the date and time in your diaries.
Because of the congregational meeting on Monday 19th October, Ladies running group will meet at 6.30pm, not the
usual 7.30
PRAISE GOD:
• For His bountiful and marvellous gifts in creation
• For His entrusting to us of the stewardship of the earth
• For His sending of Jesus Christ to be the Bread of Life that truly satisfies
PLEASE PRAY FOR:
• The Whitechapel Centre and Foodbank, each attending in different ways to the needs of those for whom life is tough at the moment, who together will receive the bulk of the gifts given today at our Harvest Parade Service
• Those individuals at home or in hospital who will receive from our Harvest gifts a small token of our love, concern and fellowship
• The Playgroup Management Committee and Mission Area of the PCC meeting on Monday, asking for wisdom to be shown in all decisions and deliberations
• The young people and adults who are being prepared for confirmation in November, praying that this time is one of great growth and encouragement in faith
• The meeting of the Salisbury House Trustees (Childwall CE School) on Wednesday, especially for Bill Addy as he chairs the meeting and for Gary and the other trustees from All Saints’
• The Development Area of the PCC meeting on Thursday, especially as plans are being formulated so that a planning application can be made
• Alpha in the Childwall Abbey pub on Thursday, praying for all who attend that they will grow in Christ and also for the ongoing impact of Alpha on the staff in the pub
• The peoples and governments in various parts of South East Asia as they deal with the aftermath of recent floods and earthquakes, and for an active and appropriate response of compassion by the international community
• The mission and ministry of the Bible Society, especially in their concern to make the Bible accessible to as many as possible through a variety of means and media
• The sick and those undergoing medical procedures.
• All who grieve the loss of a loved one or remember .the anniversary of a death at this time.
COLLECT FOR THE EIGHTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY
God, our judge and saviour,
teach us to be open to your truth
and to trust in your love,
that we may live each day
with confidence in the salvation which is given
