PLEASE PRAY (22 NOV ’09)

PRAISE GOD:

·  For the Love that in Jesus Christ embraces the unlovely

·  For the Grace that in Jesus Christ encompasses the undeserving

·  For the Mercy that is fused with Justice in the cross of Jesus Christ

PLEASE PRAY FOR:

·  The wardens, deputy wardens and sidespersons, who regularly and faithfully prepare our church for worship each week and ensure that a warm welcome is given to all

·  The Children’s Area of the PCC meeting on Monday 23rd November, giving thanks for our children’s work and witness throughout the whole week

·  Childwall CE Primary School as the school community welcomes the new Bishop of Warrington for a service on Wednesday in which the new buildings will be dedicated, and for Gary as he helps host and lead this service

·  The Standing Committee of the PCC meeting on Wednesday, continuing to hold before God the whole of the PCC in their work and service on behalf of our church

·  The prayer time for the proposed development of our buildings here at All Saints on Wednesday, that we will be faithful in prayerfully discerning God’s purposes for us

·  The Readers as they meet with Gary and Scott on Thursday, giving thanks for their faithful witness week on week here and elsewhere

·  Messy Advent on Saturday, and for Jon and Sue and their team as they prepare and lead this creative and engaging form of worship, teaching and outreach

·  The mission and ministry of Theological Colleges and Courses as they prepare men & women ordained and licensed ministry in the church, and for Bill Addy as he continues with his ordination training

·  The sick and those undergoing medical procedures.
