CHURCH HALL CLEANING

Until the church can afford a paid cleaner for the church hall the PCC have decided to have a rota of helpers to keep our hall clean and tidy. I will be ‘heading up’ (and cleaning!) this group and it would be great if large numbers of church members could sign up for this important ministry. Please consider being a cleaner and enjoy some practical discipleship and fellowship during the work for the kingdom of God. Sign up with your contact details on the list at the back of church. The rota, and the cleaning!, will commence in the new year.

NEVA CHILDRENS CHARITY

Pam & Chris Mitchell will be returning to the Children’s Hospital No3 in St Petersburg in March. We are hoping to refurbish 2 further wards at the hospital.

We are in the process of making our final  arrangements and your prayers would be very much appreciated. We were so very grateful for all the support and donations we received for our trip last year. We are once again looking for people to  sponsor items that need to be purchased for the ward for example-

  • A new bed costs £100.00
  • A blanket and pillow costs £25.00
  • A new sink costs £50.00
  • A new chair costs £20.00
  • Mosquito window screen costs £10.00
  • A nightlight costs £10.00

Any cheques should be payable to ‘Neva  Children’s Charity’, donations can of course be gift aided. Please ask for a form if you are able to do this.

If you can’t see us, donations may also be left with the Church Wardens who will pass them on to us.

If you are able to help in any way we would be delighted to hear from you.

We would like to thank all of you who have kindly donated their used print cartridges to our charity. We have just sent off the latest batch and will receive our cheque shortly. This is a great way to recycle as most of these cartridges would otherwise have been thrown in the bin.  If you have any used print cartridges you would like to donate please leave them in the box at the back of Church.

We are very grateful for all the support and help we have received in our work at the hospital over many years.
