PRAISE GOD:
- That He has compassion on the needy
- That He looks for justice and equity amongst the nations
- That He is disposed towards the orphan, the widow and the stranger
PLEASE PRAY FOR:
- The mission and ministry of Tearfund, giving thanks for the life-transforming work undertaken by their field workers, not least in the areas of relief, engineering, development, evangelism and education
- Scott as he spends time in Rockclub teaching the children about the Lord’s Supper as part of our annual preparation of children to receive communion in church, if this is appropriate for them
- The Special Service at the Methodist Church this afternoon, giving thanks for this ministry of inclusion and engagement with those with special needs
- Bookworms in the Childwall Abbey Pub on Monday, praying for relationship and conversations that will make possible an encounter with Jesus Christ as Lord
- The Standing Committee meeting on Tuesday in advance of the APCM in April, praying also that each of us will consider prayerfully before God who from our congregation might serve on the PCC from April
- Tim Moore as he flies out to Paris on Wednesday to undertake street evangelism in some tough areas of the city, and for Jenny as she remains here at home
- The Pram Club Easter Service on Thursday and Messy Easter on Saturday, giving thanks for those who lead these important aspects of our mission and ministry to children and families
- Pam and Chris Mitchell giving thanks that the work at the hospital is going well, that all the windows are in and that good progress is being made.
- Our own Government and Parliament in this period of preparation for national elections, and for the Chancellor with his particular responsibilities with regard to the economy
- The mission and ministry of Africa Inland Mission, praying especially for their medical teams who work in mission hospitals serving vast communities of needy people in some very poor parts of Africa
- The sick and those undergoing medical procedures.
- All who grieve the loss of a loved one or remember the anniversary of a death at this time.
