We would like to thank everyone for their prayers donations and support during our recent trip to Children’s Hospital No 3 St Petersburg.

It was a month of very hard work, but are pleased to say that we managed to  refurbish the two wards as planned.

We have just received an email from the Head Doctor at the hospital thanking us for our work and saying how pleased they are with the new wards.

We would not have been able to do this work without the help and especially the prayers of so many people at home. Liverpool Youth for Christ, one of our mission partners, is looking for volunteers to help with an evangelistic event in Newsham Park on Saturday, 15th May.  The event is being organised as part of Together for the Harvest’s Heal our Land. We are starting our next series of

Men’s Breakfasts on SATURDAY 8^th MAY, in the Church Hall, from 8.00am till around 9.15am. Our Vicar, Gary, will be our speaker, opening our new series theme of Jesus’s ‘I AM’ sayings (‘I am the bread of life’, ‘I am the way’ etc). All men welcome. We have breakfast together, followed by our talk and then prayers and we finish with a    resounding hymn. Any newcomers will be made to feel more than welcome. Why not come along? • The Heal Our Land UK event is premiering at  Liverpool Cathedral on the 10^th May at 7.30pm. Together for the Harvest is responsible for bringing this to our area. This interactive musical, written by Jimmy and Carol Owens, has been adapted for the challenges of today’s British church and is set to be a fantastic opportunity for Christians across the North West to enjoy a very special evening of prayer, worship music.
