The South Liverpool Foodbank Team would like to thank you for your generous support over the past 18 months. During this time we have given food to 1,523 people in crisis situations in our own local area. As people are finding it more difficult to manage, we too are running short of some of the items on our list,
especially:
Could you please help us by providing some of these?
If you prefer to support us financially, please consider our ‘Pledge a Pound Scheme’.
Please see Tim Moore or Beryl McLaren or email info@allsaintschildwall.org.uk
THANK YOU!

Please Pray….29 May 2011
PRAISE GOD:
PLEASE PRAY FOR:
· All those who will be enjoying a half-term break with family and friends, especially thanking God for all Christian teachers and support staff in our congregation and particularly remembering those who work at Childwall CE School
· Young people facing public examinations, that they and their families may know the peace and presence of God as they face a time of challenge and pressure
· Students coming towards the end of their time at university as they seek employment and direction for the future
· Each of us to reflect upon the message of Ascension Day, that the Risen Jesus reigns on high and will return as Judge and Lord
· Gary who is taking an adult baptism in Hoy (The Orkneys), for safety in travel and a time of blessing for all involved
· Joan as she begins a two-month sabbatical following her faithful service as Pastoral Assistant
· The people of Iceland as they face the consequences once again of an erupting volcano, and for all those affected by the dust and debris emitted
· The ministry and mission of university, college and school chaplains as they support students and young people through exams, one of the most important transitional points in their lives and development
· Those who are sick, undergoing, medical procedures or are anxious at this time.
Those who mourn especially those recently bereaved, that they may know God’s comfort in their loss
Collect for the Fourth Sunday of Easter
Risen Christ,
by the lakeside you renewed your call to your disciples:
help your Church to obey your command and draw the nations to the fire of your love,
to the glory of God the Father. Amen.
