As a church we actively promote five core values. These values help us understand how to share and model the Gospel. Each week the PCC will highlight in our notices one value in turn, giving examples of what this value means in practice. Please think about what we do as a church in the light of these values, and how we can embody these values more fully. Think also about what this value says to you personally about your own discipleship, or to any group or organisation of which you are a part. If you have any suggestions to make about how we as a church can better express any value in any aspect of our life and witness, then please speak to the clergy, wardens or any member of the PCC: they would be very glad to hear from you or emial: info@allsaintschildwall.org.uk
Relational
If we are:
- we put relationships above rules, structures, ‘the way we do things’
- we are open to change when new members join
- we encourage deep sacrificial friendships with fellow Christians
If we’re not:
- we put ‘the way we do things’, or the need to get things done before relationships
- we expect new members to conform to our way
- we leave people to make friends, or not
