During Lent we will be running a series of discussions called Paraclesis which literally means coming along side. We will be exploring ways in which we can more effectively care for each other and those in our wider community.
The discussions will take place in the church hall every Monday evening for the six weeks of Lent starting on 6 March at 7.30 p.m. During this time most of our small groups will not meet so that we can all meet together. Those who are not currently part of a small group are especially welcome. We will be meeting informally around tables with tea, coffee and cake and we will be mixing things up a little so that current small group members will be spread around the tables. We are doing this so that everyone will be in the same boat, those who aren’t currently in small groups and those who are, hopefully this will mean that everyone will be meeting new people and making new friends.
Everyone is welcome. All those who are interested please sign up at the back of the church, we will be giving everyone who takes part their own copy of the Paraclesis Daily Guide.
Do you want to make new friends in the church?
Do you want to make a difference in peoples’ lives?
If you do then join us.
