Prayer for the Nation Zoom Meeting

Dear All,
In the last 24hours we have been given real hope for the future in the fight against Covid with the development of an effective vaccine.  We need to continue to pray for our nation and our world.  Please can I encourage you to use daily the ‘Prayer for the Nation’ card that has been produced by the Church of England. (attached to this email)
This is a national call to prayer and our own Diocese is encouraging people to come together daily on Zoom at 6pmfor a time of led prayers.  You will be muted on joining and can simply be present with other Chirtians from across our city.  This is not a prayer meeting where everyone joins and prays together but a time of led prayers that we can be part of.
Mary Harrison writes:”I joined in on Sunday and found it helpful to focus my prayers around the theme for the day. There were 49 participants who were all automatically muted on joining. It was led by Archdeacon Mike McGurk and there was no involvement with participants in the prayer time.
He led it well and one of the prayers he used was the Shalom Prayer by Maranatha Community which was excellent.”

Details to join the Daily led Prayer for the Nation are below:
