Some of the Bible based studies will be, “From Creation to Christ”, “The Creed”, “God’s Heart – My Heart, what the Bible says about world mission”. You would be most welcome. Jon and Lesley, with Gary and Karen, would like to extend a warm invitation to the wedding ofHannah and Simon on Saturday 21st August  at 12.00 noon and also to join them for tea, coffee and cakes in the Church Hall following the ceremony.

One of our church mission partners, Church  Pastoral Aid  Society has sent the following          request:

“This summer over 4,500 children and young      people will hear the gospel message on a CPAS holiday – some for the very first time.  Let’s pray that those attending will meet Jesus Christ, get to know Him better and lead others to Him.

Instead of the usual weekly prayers we have some special prayers for over the summer period. These are listed in full below or you can download them via this link  2010 Summer Prayers.

Praise God:

• That He rested on the seventh day of creation
• That He sets a pattern of work and rest before His   creation
• That He renews and recreates His people as they come before Him in stillness

Please pray for:

• Rest, renewal and refreshment for the many and varied leaders of our church, thanking God for their devotion, commitment and dedication
• The preparations for September as groups,     bodies and organisations gear up for a new term with new challenges and opportunities
• The Planning Application as it goes through the various stages, for God’s will and purpose to continue to be discerned and known in this regard
• All who are leading and taking part in Christian summer camps and holidays
• Those who suffer or who grieve, that God in His mercy will draw near to each to bring healing and peace
