All Saints Church Childwall

Over the past couple of years the number of people who provide car park security for the Sunday Evening Worship service has diminished, which places an additional burden upon those who provide this valuable ministry. If you feel that you would be able to help by adding your name to the list you would be asked to patrol the church hall car park with another between 6.15 – 8.00pm approximately once every three months.

This year there are 5 ‘holiday’ Sundays to cover:

31 July, 07 August, 14 August, 21 August, 28 August

We now have one sidesperson for the 6.30pm service on the 3^rd Sunday of the month. We need a further 2. If you feel able to help with this important ministry please have a word with  Peter Jennins (724 4476) and he can explain the duties and responsibilities involved.

The South Liverpool Foodbank Team would like to thank you for your generous support over the past 18 months.  During this time we have given food to 1,523 people in crisis situations in our own local area.  As people are finding it more difficult to   manage, we too are running short of some of the items on our list,

especially:

• FRUIT JUICE – (must be LONG LIFE)
• MILK – (must be LONG LIFE)
• and also TINNED TOMATOES.

Could you please help us by providing some of these?

• Bakewell Venture 23rd-30th July 2011. This is a Pathfinder holiday for 11-15 year olds.
  The holiday is fully booked but there is a need for  2-3 male leaders and a cook. (Cook – If you can peel and chop an onion you qualify!)
