We would like to thank everyone for their prayers donations and support during our recent trip to Children’s Hospital No 3 St Petersburg.

It was a month of very hard work, but are pleased to say that we managed to  refurbish the two wards as planned.

We have just received an email from the Head Doctor at the hospital thanking us for our work and saying how pleased they are with the new wards.

We would not have been able to do this work without the help and especially the prayers of so many people at home. Fairtrade Fortnight Update Thank you to everyone who enthusiastically supported the stall in Fairtrade Fortnight in February. You bought £106 of fairly traded goods and  donated another £13.50. I have sent £27.00 to Traidcraft for their ‘Big Swap’ campaign which is encouraging people to switch to fairly traded tea. The winner of the ‘guess the number of      tea-bags in a jar’ competition was Dick Williams so the Belgian Fair-Trade chocolates are on their way to him! Thank you all.  Liz Anderson

• To date £803.47 has been raised for the Society. I would like to thank all box holders and those who donated money at the Christingle Service. Anyone who still has a box requiring emptying please bring it to church or contact me on 280 8327 to arrange for it to be collected. If you would be prepared to Gift Aid the money you have collected please contact me to obtain a form to complete to forward to the Children’s Society. Delia Owen
