All Saints Church Hall is available for a limited number of private bookings.

If you wish to book the hall, please read and accept our terms and conditions before submitting your booking request. Please note that submission of this form does not guarantee the booking. If we have availability, you will receive a provisional confirmation which will be finalised once we have received your donation of £50 towards the cost of heating, lighting and maintenance.

OCCASIONAL PRIVATE USE OF THE CHURCH HALL – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Private users of the hall must observe the following guidelines:

1. Bookings may be made up to 3 months in advance, with the hall booking secretary.  Only members of the   congregation, or those who have been sponsored by them, may use the hall.

2. A donation of £50 towards the cost of maintaining the hall should be made when booking the hall, by cheque payable to “All Saints Church Childwall”.

3. The hall will be unlocked and locked by a keyholder appointed by the hall bookings  secretary.

4. The user is responsible that good order is kept in the hall, car park and grounds. The user shall indemnify the   Parochial Church Council (PCC) in respect of the cost of repair of any damage done to any part of the premises including the car park and grounds or the contents of the building during or as a result of use

5. The user shall be responsible for  making arrangements to insure against any third party claims which may arise whilst using the hall. Private Party organisers are advised to check their household insurance to        ensure that third party liability extends to cover their event

6. The user shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by him/her onto the premises and used there shall be safe and in good working order and used in a safe manner.

7. Users must familiarise themselves with the location of all exits, emergency exits and fire extinguishers. No exits may be blocked, chairs or obstructions placed in corridors, or fire appliances removed or tampered with.

8. Details of any accident or incident occurring which did or could give rise to injury or illness must be reported to a church warden. This must be done as soon as possible and in all cases within 24 hours. An Accident Book is provided for recording such details and also details of any witnesses, apparatus, tec. Involved. Any apparatus or equipment involved by law must be retained for inspection. The Accident Book is located in the Church Hall Office.

9.  No advertisements, bills, flags, emblems or other decorations shall be displayed inside or outside the hall without the previous written consent of the PCC who shall have absolute discretion to withhold such consent. No bolts, nails, tacks or screws, bits, pins or other like object shall be driven into any part of the hall nor shall any placards or other articles be affixed thereto.

10.  Alcohol and smoking are prohibited. (Smoking will set off the fire alarm)

11.  Smoke machines (discos) are not allowed as they will set off the fire alarm.

12.  The stage, office and top lounge must not to be used.

13.  Pram club toys or other equipment must not be used.

14.  Children are not allowed in the kitchen unless supervised by an adult.

15.  The hall must be left in a tidy condition, including:

  • kitchen surfaces must be wiped
  • floors must be swept as necessary (brushes etc. are in wall cupboard in main hall)
  • sticky sweets, etc are removed from the floor
  • all waste food, packaging, disposable items, etc. must be taken home
  • furniture must be left as found

16.  Before leaving the hall, please ensure that:

  • the urn, taps and lights are turned off
  • toilets are flushed and clean
  • windows are closed

17. Do not leave the hall unless the appointed keyholder is present.

18.  The uses shall, where the premises are to be used by children, comply with the Church’s Child Protection Policy (copy available on request) or with the Government’s guidelines set out in the document  Safe from       Harm. The user shall be responsible for the safety of children in the accommodation and ensure that they are kept safe from harm at all times during the period of use. A signed agreement must be completed by the user, prior to use, accepting full responsibility for the safety of all children and adults during the period of hire.

19.  The PCC reserves the right to refuse admission to any person or persons at its absolute discretion.
