We at All Saints have now run a number of Alpha courses. We started with a large group of the existing church congregation, moving now to holding smaller groups in the pub and other venues.
The Alpha Course brings Christian basics to life to those with little or no knowledge of Christianity as well as those who have been on a journey of Christian faith for many years.
The Alpha course addresses the following fundamental questions, allowing the course participants an opportunity to explore how the answers to these questions may impact their personal life in a relaxed, informal and friendly setting.
Alpha Course - 16th September – 25th November 2010
We would like to invite you to join us on the next Alpha Course which starts on Thursday 18th September 2010. The course will run for 10 weeks from 7.30pm – 9.30pm. The venue will be decided once numbers have been confirmed
Each evening will begin with an evening meal, followed by a talk on Christian basics and then an opportunity to join a discussion group.
The course is finished off with a Celebration Supper.

I can honestly say I thought the Alpha Course was brilliant. It’s a great forum within which you can explore your faith. I can’t stress enough how relaxed and friendly the whole course is. No questions you might have about your faith are too silly, obscure or embarrassing – the leaders make sure that the course is easygoing, imformative and fun. There really isn’t any pressure – you’re encouraged explore your beliefs at your own pace. You’ll also make a lot of new friends and the food is great too!” (Nick Hale April 2009)
