The Development Area is working on an exciting opportunity to look at how we can best use the building and grounds, which surround and include All Saints Church.
The Garden
From a simple aim of just providing toilet facilities for a church who’s history can be traced back to the Doomsday Book in 1086, to the provision of a state of the art facility for the popular Pre-School Play Group in the church hall.
Landscaping
The challenge is to commission an extension to the church, which will not distract from the heritage of the existing church building. At the same time in the church hall, to provide a set of varied of spaces for use by the church family and the wider community.
The Environment
At a time when the Church of England is seeking for its churches to reduce the size of its ‘carbon footprint’, this development opportunity is ideally placed to meet this challenge.
The Groundwork
Before any of our development dreams can be realised it is estimated that it may take a number of years of prayer, consideration, planning and implementation.
