We are extremely privileged and delighted, due to a strong network of volunteers, to be able to provide meetings for most sections of the boy’s brigade and the scouting & guiding movements.
(Uniformed organisations for younger groups are in our All Children Section)
On the second Sunday of every month (except August), a parade service is held in church starting at 11.00 a.m following the parade itself complete with marching band. All children, young people and their carers and families are warmly invited to join this action packed, fun filled service of worship.
SCOUTS
Scouts take part in a balanced programme that helps then to find out about the world in which they live, encourages them to know their own abilities, the importance of keeping fit and it helps them to develop their creative talents. It also provides opportunities to explore their own values and personal attitudes.
Being outdoors is important and half the programme is given over to taking part in both traditional accounting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking as well as a wide range of adventurous activities.
