Small groups are an important part of our life together as a church. They aim to be places where significant relationships develop and authentic Christian community grows. They aim to be effective agencies of mission and growth around which the church can be built.
They are safe places
- to learn and laugh together
- to encourage, support and help each other
- to grow spiritually and reach out to others
- to ask and explore those difficult questions
- where anyone is always welcome
The groups meet in homes at various times through the week. The content of meetings includes worship, prayer, Bible study, pastoral care, fellowship, ministry to each other, social activities and outreach to others.
The groups are open, hospitable and welcoming so that anyone can join at any time. The church seeks to be one where no-one stands alone. The small groups are the natural places for people to join with others.
