The new kitchen units are now in, worktops and tiling are being fitted this coming week. The wooden floor in the large hall is now fully repaired and closed up where access was needed to fix a leak. All the drains from the toilets have now been cleared of roots that had grown into them and they are all lined and fully functioning.

We have 10 adults from All Saints who will be confirmed this year.
Please pray for them regularly as we meet each week at Calisa for our confirmation classes. The
meetings that we have left now are on 10th and 17th November. Thank you, Andrew & Adeyinka.
VESTRY HOUR – every Tuesday in Church from 7pm – 8pm
To book a Baptism or a Wedding or speak to a member of the clergy, please come to Vestry Hour which is held in the church every Tuesday, no appointment is necessary. Please use the wooden door to the left of the tower. You do not need to knock; just come in, take a seat and you will be seen privately in turn.
Shoe box appeal – Samaritan’s Purse
Shoe boxes are available at the back of church to take away and fill for this Christmas. These boxes are then transported across Europe and beyond to some of the poorest countries where children often receive them as their only present. Please take a box and fill one individually or as a family and bring them back to church.

Mothers’ Union and the Toxteth Women’s Centre
This is an appeal on behalf of the Toxteth Women’s Centre which is supported by local Mothers’ Union branches in our area/deanery. Fliss, who works with Afghan women and children who are refugees and asylum seekers in Liverpool, has asked for donations of the following items. Nappies, mainly size 4,5 and 6, maternity pads and breast pads, baby wash and shampoo, bigger items of pushchairs (baby and toddler), car seats for new-borns, baby bouncer chairs/play mats. As branch leader at our church, I thought I would share this appeal with the whole congregation. Thank you for reading this. Sue Watterson. 07707 901279

Mothers’ Union meeting on Tuesday 8th November at 2pm in the church hall.
Our speaker this month is Adeyinka Olushonde who is going to tell us about himself and his ministry and then talk about issues of prejudice, racism and slavery. This follows on from a sermon which he preached a few weeks ago on the Good Samaritan, which some of you may recall. Mother’s Union is just one of a number of organisations in the UK and globally which support the movement to stop modern day slavery.
Visitors and friends are very welcome to join us. Sue Watterson Tel: 07707 901279
Thank you for all those who have responded to the appeal to give items for the Toxteth Women’s Centre which supports Afghan refugees.
