Building work in the church hall
The new kitchen is now finished and is looking fantastic.
The small hall and the large hall will be decorated next during the Christmas break.
VESTRY HOUR – every Tuesday in Church from 7pm – 8pm
To book a Baptism or a Wedding or speak to a member of the clergy, please come to Vestry Hour which is held in the church every Tuesday, no appointment is necessary. Please use the wooden door to the left of the tower. You do not need to knock; just come in, take a seat and you will be seen privately in turn.

BOOKWORMS – Monday 5th December at 7.30pm
The next meeting is at 7.30pm on Monday December 5th in the Childwall Abbey pub. The book we shall be discussing is A Terrible Kindness by Jo Browning Wroe. Come and join us. Val Yates
Men’s Night – Friday 9th December from 7pm at the Childwall Abbey
Come and join us on Friday 9th December in the Childwall Abbey Function room from 7pm. It would be great to see you there, it is an opportunity to get to know each other
and have a chat and a drink together. Andrew
MENS BREAKFAST – Saturday 10th December at 8am in the Church Hall
Why not join a group of men for a simple breakfast, a time of fellowship, a short talk, prayer and finished off with a hymn. Our speaker this month is Bill Forster. We should be finished by about 9am. Contact Aidan Holmes aid.holmes@btinternet.com

We have Christmas cards available to buy at the back of church £2.50 a pack.

Delivery of Christmas Cards to every home in the Parish
Thank you to all of you who have delivered the Church Christmas Card to the parish. Cards have been delivered to over 3000 homes in the parish detailing our Christmas services.
The Children’s Society
Many thanks to those who have returned their house boxes. I have banked £720.60 so far from the emptied box contents & from some donations. If you still have a house box that needs emptying please bring it to church or let me know so that I can collect it from you. Delia Owen
