Thank you all very much for your feedback and comments in relation to our Children’s work provision. It has been very helpful in our discussions and decision making.
At our PCC meeting we discussed the provision of our children’s work on Sunday mornings. After much discussion considering all the implications a proposal was put forward to have Children’s work only at the 9.15am service. The PCC unanimously agreed to this and have left the timing and implementation up to the Clergy and wardens.
The 11am service is being completely reviewed to ensure that with the change in our children’s provision it is accessible and appropriate in its content for all ages.
Having discussed the timing, I would like us to start having children’s work only at the 9.15am service from Sunday 21st May. Tea & coffee will be served weekly after the 9.15am service from this Sunday as well.

BOOKWORMS
Our last meeting at the beginning of the month was well attended and most people
had enjoyed their reread (or first time read) of A Christmas Carol.
Our next meeting is on Monday April 3rd at 7.30pm in the Childwall Abbey.
The book we are reading is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Set in Jackson, USA in the
60s when many middle class white American households employed African American women to ‘help’. I read and enjoyed this book a few years ago and I have also seen the film on tv. If you would like to, do come and join us. Val Yates
NO VESTRY HOUR on Tuesday 4th or 11th April – will be back on 18th April at 7-8pm.

Please use the wooden door to the left of the tower. You do not need to knock; just come in, take a seat and you will be seen privately in turn.

World Mission Area
The PCC has agreed that All Saints financially & prayerfully will now support 3 World
Mission Partners. Cheques were sent to the 4 partners we did have for the year ending

  1. It had been decided that New Tribes Mission would no longer be financially
    supported.
The three remaining partners are Tearfund, Release International voice of Persecuted
Christians & Christians Against Poverty (CAP)
The church has supported Tearfund for many years for their involvement in numerous
countries throughout the world helping local churches where there is need which could be
due to conflict or natural disasters the latter often caused by climate change.
Release International voice of Persecuted Christians supports individuals their families &
communities who are persecuted for their Christian faith & beliefs which can sometimes
result in death, displacement or imprisonment.
Our third Partner, Christians Against Poverty CAP, is a National charity helping individuals &
families who are struggling with debt. CAP provides practical help & guidance to help them
sort out their debt which has often led those who have become debt free to faith
We praise & thank our Lord & Father of all mankind that as a church we are able to help
those who struggle in many ways through our financial and prayerful support.
